Brooklyn Waldrep serves as a Civil Rights Specialist in the Office of Civil Rights Compliance at Mississippi State University. In this role, she investigates matters related to alleged misconduct, including discrimination, harassment, and retaliation based on protected statuses. Brooklyn also contributes to the development of training materials and provides education to Mississippi State students, faculty, and staff on civil rights-related concerns.

Brooklyn brings a strong background in student misconduct and investigations to the office. She previously worked in the Dean of Students Office, where she managed cases of academic misconduct and upheld institutional values through fair and thorough investigative processes. Her experience includes guiding students and staff through sensitive matters while ensuring compliance with university policies and procedures.

A proud Mississippi State alumna, Brooklyn earned both her bachelor's and master's degrees and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership. She is passionate about higher education, student development, and creating positive learning and working environments. 

Outside of work, Brooklyn enjoys spending time with family and friends, attending Mississippi State sporting events, and engaging with her local community through volunteer opportunities.
