In 2021, Kelly Davis joined the Office of Civil Rights Compliance as its Civil Rights Specialist. She investigates matters related to Title IX complaints, discrimination, and misconduct. She assists with training and education of MSU students, faculty and staff on civil rights-related issues.
Kelly comes to Mississippi State with a decade of experience in background investigations, with a prior focus on security clearance investigations, mentorship, and training as a former federal contractor. Kelly is a bulldog at heart and earned her B.B.A. from Mississippi State University in 2009.
She is a lifetime member of the National Association of Junior Auxiliary and previously served her local chapter in West Point, MS as the treasurer and finance chairs.
Kelly has also served her local church as a board member for children’s groups since 2016 and continues to volunteer with her church’s middle school girls.
